Traditional Anatolian Ehram (White and Blue on Yellow)
Ehram is a traditional Anatolian cover cloth which is woven and made of wool. This fabric is used to protect villagers from sun in the summer time and the wind in the winter time when they work at the fields.
6000 metres wool yarn is used to wove 1 ehram.
It’s main origin is Bayburt. There used to be at least one ehram loom in every three houses in Bayburt. Nowadays it is rear, but there is an increasing demand all over the world for this unique and georgeous fabric. Ehram is famous especially among fashion and interior designers.
It is woven and made of %100 wool. It has traditional pattern on it.
